With the new technologies coming into game development, unlike the old AI player will no longer need the cheats to be competitive. When it comes to the old vs the new AI, the new AI can easily defeat the old one. This new AI eliminate the possibility of cheating and it will for sure encourage the player to progress through the game on their own skills set. The developer have used the Dijkstra’s algorithm, this algorithm enables the Pathfinding. To elaborate, what pathfinding does is, it automatically generates the shortest routes, it for sure leaves the player of the burden to find new territories on their own expense. Due to this technology, unlike the previous edition, farms will replenish on their own.

Expansion Packs For The Definitive Edition
The Definitive Edition of the game has three new expansions. The first expansion, Lords of West, was released in 2021. This expansion induces two new civilization, the Burgundians and the Sicilians and three new campaigns, Edward Longshanks, the Dukes of Burgundy, and the Hautevilles. The second expansion pack, Dawn of Dukes, Was release on August 10, 2021. This expansion features two new civilization the Poles and the Bohemians. It also includes three new campaigns featuring Jadwiga, Jan Žižkaas, Algirdas and Kestutis. The third expansion features three new civilization, the Bengalis, the Dravidians and the Gurjaras. It was released on April 14, 2022. This expansion also includes three new campaigns, featuring Babur, Rajendra, and Devapala. In this expansion the existing Indian civilization was renamed the Hindustanis.
