Homeworld Remastered Collection Free PC Download is a real time strategy video game and was released in 1999. Homeworld is the development of Relic Entertainment and the publication of Sierra Studio. The Game was released Exclusively for PC platform like Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The game can be played both in single and multiplayer mode. Homeworld is the first installment in the Homeworld Series.
The game is encircled in a science fiction and feature the exile of Planet kharak as their home planet is being destroyed by the Taiidan Empire. Taiidan Empire invades planet kharak as they were in the process of developing hyperspace jump technology. The story of the game is based on the struggles of Survivors as they are battling to reclaim their ancient homeworld of Hiigara from the Taiidan.
Along the way they will have to encounter a variety of pirates, Mercenaries, traders and rebels. The game divides their struggles in to different missions, as they build their resistance from scratch. Players take on the role of the survivors as they gather resources, build armies and weapons to encounter their enemies. The game is presented in a three dimensional environment.

Game Review
This 15 hours long campaigns and its attention to the detailing is breath taking. At first to get the hang of controlling these giant spaceships is one tough task but as you get the hang of it, it is so immersive and lucrative. The use of 3D navigation is minimal as much of the combats takes place in a 2D plane. The informing system put in place to tell players which ship or ships should you use in different scenarios is just top notch. The game is tough in the sense that you have to continue your next mission with the same fleet from the previous mission. If any of your ship/s are not further useable you have to continue with out it.
Homeworld PC Game Plot
The story of the game is told a century before the start of the game. Story begin with Kushan, humanoid inhabitants of the planet Kharak as they discover a spaceship which hold a stone map marking Kharak and other planets across the galaxy labeled as “Hiigara” means Home. Before this discovery various clans of kharak thought that they were the outsider and doesn’t belong here. Now they have come the realization that they actually are the aborigine, hence they have formed an alliance to regain what’s theirs’.
They spend the next century in developing a mothership that would carry 600,000 inhabitants from kharak to Hiigara. As they busy testing the new hyperspace shuttle that travels faster than the speed of light, their mother ship encounters a hostile alien ship. As the mothership returns to kharak they come to the realization that kharak has been razed by another alien ship and only the 600,000 on the mothership survived.
Now the survivors have to gather resources and build fleets to encounter the enemies, regain kharak and continue their mission to go back to Hiigara.

Homeworld Remastered Collection Free PC Download Gameplay
The gameplay encompasses real time strategies and is focused on resource gathering, building defense forces to destroy their enemies’ ships. The game has both single and multiplayer mode. In the single player mode, there is a single campaign sliced into 16 different levels. Each level of the campaign unfolds a part of the main story. In order to progress to another level players must have to complete the previous level. To complete a level, the objectives set for that level must be accomplished.
The base for the players’ fleet is a mothership, responsible for mission assigning and construction of other space crafts. In a single player campaign, the mothership doesn’t move as compared to other spacecraft. Each level of the game has include stationary rocks and gas clouds that serves as a source for generating resources. To extract resources players will to use special extracting ships called resource collectors. These ships will mine resource, the only in game currency, and unload these resources at the mothership. Mothership will use these resources to construct more ships hence increasing the number of soldiers.
What the Mothership Do?
Players can build different kinds of ships used for different tasks. Some ships are buildable only when players reach certain level in the game. These ships include, resource collectors, fighters and corvettes, frigates, destroyers and heavy cruisers. Other than these players can also construct non-combat ships such as research vessels and repair corvettes. The fighter ships need mothership for refueling, while salvage corvettes is used to tow in the captive enemies’ ships back to the mothership.

Capturing a specific type of enemies’ ship can unlock that type of ship for the players. At the start of the game players can either choose to play as the Kushan’s or the Taiidan’s fleet. Depending on what the players choose, the basic design and options for the ships will be altered. Although the game’s main plot remains the same.
Game Controls And View Points!
In the game players can maneuver there ships within the sphere. Sphere is the playable area for each level, divided in half by circular plane. Among the players’ fleet of ships, the camera can be set on which ever ship the players wish to follow. Players can also set the camera from the ship’s view point. Players can view Sensor Manger, which shows the entire map and also any other visible ships.
For better management and strategy, players can format their ships into different formation like wedges or spheres. If, during a combat, a ship takes damages its health bar depletes and also a visual effects like smoke and fire is added to it.
